Question 6

What score did "I want to build a SaaS platform that enhances tabletop gaming through a companion mobile app acting as a dynamic game engine. Instead of focusing on a single board game product, the goal is to create a scalable software layer that can power multiple tabletop experiences.

The problem is that modern board games are becoming increasingly complex, requiring extensive setup, manual tracking, and rigid rule systems. This creates friction for new players and limits replayability, reducing long-term engagement and retention.

The solution is a subscription-based mobile app that functions as a real-time game master. It manages game state, automates rule systems, and introduces adaptive mechanics such as dynamic difficulty, procedural event generation, and personalized gameplay experiences. This allows players to access richer and more varied sessions without increasing the complexity of physical components.

The initial use case is a cooperative survival game where players must complete objectives before a global failure condition is triggered. The app controls progression, tension systems, and randomized events, demonstrating the platform’s capabilities. However, this is only the entry point for a broader ecosystem.

The core value lies in the platform’s extensibility. New scenarios, game modes, and entirely new titles can be delivered digitally without requiring new physical products. This creates a continuous content pipeline and significantly increases user lifetime value.

The business model is based on SaaS principles:

* Monthly or annual subscription for access to the platform
* Paid expansions, scenario packs, and premium content
* Optional partnerships with board game publishers to integrate their titles into the system

The target market includes board game enthusiasts seeking deeper and more replayable experiences, as well as casual players who are currently excluded by complexity barriers.

By positioning the app as a platform rather than a companion tool, this project shifts from a one-time purchase model to a recurring revenue system, enabling scalability, continuous engagement, and long-term growth." get?
